I had to leave my job due to a health issue. Due to FMLA i had to provide “appropriate notice” how the hell do u provide notice when its a major health issue that happens over night. Went from a slight stomach ache to lots of blood in my stool and curling up into the fetal position for hours. And since i technically quit my job, in ohio, u cant file for unemployment if u quit. U have to be fired.
My girlfriend got injured at her job and was collecting workers comp but, since she delayed surgery so much, they arent gonna pay out anymore and shes not sure she can even get the surgery.
The next step would be homelessness. Which i dont care anymore, as long as i dont have to contribute to this dying system. But my parents “raised me better than that” so they pay my bills and hold it above my head. Narcissistic fucks. Never ask them to either. They just do it and expect some sort of thanks out of me. Like nah, i wanna fail so i dont have to do this shit no more.
