They denied my LOA (CA)

So, long story long, my manager was told by the VP OF OPERATION! To deny my unpaid time off request even tho I had accumulated time off, because I “take too much time off” (I took two days off for my birthday) so I told my manager if that’s the case, I’ll be putting in a personal LOA because I’m taking “so much time off”, because my husband is about to go overseas on unaccompanied orders for two years. Well… I heard back today. They said I don’t qualify for FMLA (never even asked for FMLA) and that they need more proof. I’m so confused. I’m guessing this is a miscommunication since I applied for a personal LOA, not FMLA or PFL. BUT I have a feeling this is targeted and they are trying to push me out. I have about had it and I’m about to straight up quit…

I have about had it and I’m about to straight up quit on the spot, and I probably would have the moment I received that email if I wasn’t fueled by spite to keep going. The funniest part? I work for a third party military contractor company. So we will take care of military families, unless they work for us. Isn’t that heart warming?
