This probably goes without saying, but let's say you're just a stupid, bright-eyed, naive 20ish year old kid basically, who knows very little of workplace culture. This one is for ya'll. Every time you call in, you call in sick. Because another good reason doesn't exist. Don't be honest with your employers, don't practice integrity or try to be virtuous. No personal reasons, no things you have to attend to. None of that stupid bullshit because they don't care, they don't value any of that. It doesn't matter what the reason is. How little you call in, how little the reason even matters considering you weren't going to come in to work regardless. It doesn't matter. They want you to lie to them. They don't think the system they have is promoting dishonest behavior at all, so next time you need a day to do personal shit just say you have food poisoning. Hope this is the right sub.
