I don’t want to get too specific about the details, so I can keep myself and my company anonymous. But I am thinking about quitting tomorrow cold Turkey without a backup job in place.
Long story short, my boss is engaged in some unethical and shady stuff that I fear could blow up on me the longer I stay. He’s also just been disrespectful and emotionally abusive for a while. So I don’t even want to give a 2 weeks notice.
I do have a month of savings. I am doing some food delivery on the side. And my husband can provide for both of us on a tight budget if I don’t have a new job in a month. But I am pretty sure I could get a teaching job where I am as they are in high demand and I have experience.
Am I being crazy? Please help.
