In 2021, almost 200 million people experienced acute hunger. If you divided up that 12 trillion dollars of horded wealth among the starving, it would be 6 million dollars a piece.
There is more wealth in this modern automated world than you can even comprehend. Poverty and starvation are a choice. All of the infrastructure exists to move what is need to the needy. America alone throws away almost half of its produced food. And some stores post armed guards at their trash cans, or pour bleech on expired food, just to keep it from the mouths of the poor. The reason it is not shared is simply due to 'cost'. Meaning that it would not make the rich richer, if we solved the problem of food scarcity.
