This might be NA specific but why is it that instead of acknowledging not everyone is super human people think if they can do 60+ hours so can everyone?

I don't get (our) cultures mentality. I pointed out that Europe is blessed to have a month long vacation that is mandatory. I was talking to a group of friends. Now as rare as she may be, possibly, I've seen a few online too. I don't understand the need to hate people who want to make life easier. And so far as I know in Europe better work hours doesn't suddenly mean a pay cut.
