Thoughts on unpaid training for Airline.

After a long recruitment process, I was hired as a flight attendant at a major-ish airline. Everything was going okay until they presented the idea of doing 50+ hours of unpaid online training, which you have roughly 2 weeks to complete. There is some pretty intense modules, including some seemingly critical information that they require you to memorize prior to starting ground training school. This makes me feel uneasy. Seems like a lot to ask of someone you’re not paying. By some accounts, if you don’t have the information memorized by day 1, you may be removed from training. Is there anyone here that has gone through a similar process? What are your thoughts?
