Tip culture leaking into Australia (and probably a lot of other countries)

Years ago before delivery apps and digital menus I'd never once been asked to tip. Also while working in a restaurants I'd never expect or received a tip during my 5 years of working in that industry. The worst thing recently is some select few places (although rare) have these screens that you pay at the counter and you need to select 0% tip in front of the employee which is much worse then tapping it on your phone by yourself. I now understand the feeling Americans get when they attempt to not tip and I feel like a cheap dickhead not tipping but I really don't want to give into the bullshit culture that we've manage to avoid for so long.

I know it's still miles away from what its like in America but I want to see what people think about it and if they actually believe it could become common place and might affect the chances of the government raising minimum wage in the future.
