My gf works as a server at a major tourist attraction restaurant in TX. Today she received a $650.00 tip and her managers would not give it to her. They said they would have to contact the bank and that it was probably accidental. The customer typed it in themselves on the pad under “enter custom amount.” What can she do about this? Seems illegal to me. They are already going through some lawsuits right now over previous employee’s wages.
