Why America?
The top answer explains the different laws passed. Other answers say that they want to destabilize the middle class. More answers include the greed of the corporations, corporations funding politicians, price collusion, classism, etc etc
But the problem I have with these amswers is that none of these things are exclusive to the United States. There are greedy corporations, corrupt politicians, classism, etc… EVERYWHERE. This doesn't explain how this can happen in America but not in Europe where literally the same corporations/politicians/classists also exist. You can't tell me that a German or Danish executive is somehow, magically, less greedy than an American one.
It doesn't explain why presidents like Reagan can “bust unions” yet European leaders can't?
I just don't see what is stopping those things happening in America from happening in Europe.
