So yesterday at work (stylist) i had a customer who i was unable to service, i attempted it and ended up not being able to as it was a hard cut and i am a junior stylist, the issue was resolved by a senior. I was then sent home early, came in today and had a meeting about how i’m useless and not good enough when this was my first mistake, belittled and told i was unprofessional, unpresentable and despite being qualified am apparently not even level one standard, this is the first time in a year that this has been said. I came back from holiday last week and cannot help but feel that this has been planned since i was away and they were waiting for an excuse to belittle me, i have had my hours dropped to 30. I’m now on three month probation, i know however they are struggling to keep up with rising costs as such a small salon, trying to find a new job, and feeling utterly dejected.
