I work at a luxury sales store that rhymes with Corey Lurch. It is a Tuesday in the middle of the day and it’s been a little steady but not too busy at all. I finally had a break in customers and it was 2:00, which is when my lunch break is scheduled. I waited a few minutes for our sales lead to read off our info at the top of the hour. That’s typically my cue to go on break. I waited and 5 minutes had passed. I look over at them and they are just walking around with their hands behind their back being lazy as they usually are.
So I just walked up to them and said “Hey, just letting you know I am headed off to lunch.” And they slowly looked at their watch like I was lying about the time and like I had just said something super rude or disrespectful. They proceeded to slowly walk to the counter to doo the hourly reading and completely ignored me. I just got my stuff, had them check my bag without a word and left.
I guess I am disrespectful for informing my sales lead I’m going to lunch at my scheduled time. 🤷️ this person has been rude to me since I got here and I am not interested being nice to them. Guess I am on the shit list now.
