I started a job 4 months ago as practically a social worker without the license. I work with young adults to help with mental health issues and managing tasks with them or improving their lives, setting and achieving goals. Love the work. Here’s the issue. Each client I meet with is 45 minutes away aside from a couple at 30 minutes. They have me driving 1.5 hours to one client and a little over an hour for another. Is this normal? I was told they would try and keep my clients in the area I live around but it hasn’t really been the case. I can have up to 15 clients at a time so it can be overwhelming in my opinion. Am I entitled to be a little upset with how they are managing clients for my caseload? Or should I just ignore it because it’s my field? Not to mention im only making 45k a year in Massachusetts which is basically making pay check to paycheck around here for a ton of work. Idk maybe Im just bitching who knows
