So today my bosses boss walked into the office, causing me to click away from a tab with lifeline 24/7 online suicide support chat line I was using, for him to sit down with the same condescending tone as always to ask me “you're looking happier today” to which I replied “honestly no, this is the most depressed I've been in months”
He physically recoiled back and stumbled over his words, while trying to explain why he has asked, ended up with them going “well… you look happier, its good” and then leaves the room.
