I got a job that seems all good and the contract seems good. It has a part about how workers will be evaluated monthly but nothing about it relating to cuts in your salary. As soon as I signed the contract, we had a meeting about how our monthly grades could result in reductions of our salary. I'm in Asia and apparently this is legal due to some loophole. Totally shady that they never explained it up front. I'm not dying for money because I have enough savings that'll be enough to sustain me if they fire me. I can't quit because if I do I have to pay back my salary x the 10 remaining months of my salary. Everytime I go into work I feel sick looking at my bosses and HR. I've pretty much checked out. They keep putting me in training sessions due to my need for improvement. I just nod along and pretend but I am hoping they would just fire me.
