Two week notice or take PTO and quit?

A little context to start… I live in a very expensive area. My wife and I discussed it, and we just do not make enough money to stay in this area any longer. We decided to move to a much cheaper area at the beginning of next year. Here’s where the issue comes in: My job is a very large corporate company that has treated me somewhat well over the past year. I have received multiple bonuses from this company that have helped us out immensely… but it’s not enough incentive to stick around. Do I give a two week notice when I quit? I have worked for large companies in the past that have simply let me go immediately upon receiving a two week notice. I’m scared that will be the case here. I have worked for large companies in the past that have simply let me go immediately upon receiving a two week notice. I’m scared that will be the case here. On the other hand, it would be helpful to take all of my PTO when I move… and then I would quit at the end of the PTO. I feel like this is incredibly scummy to do, but I wanted to get opinions… especially because this company treated me well.
