Unable to accommodate for work…but we need you back for the 4th of July.

Edit 2: Manager hired on two new people to do clothing merchandising which I could have done and not posted that on the internal job board nor did they offer me the position, which I can fulfill the job duty and I did it for them before they moved me to my current/former position. Edit 1: I had them take me off the schedule. They were “shocked” that I was on there. So my medical leave is protected for now at least. I have asthma and managers kept trying to send me outside in 85+ degree weather to go push carts. I explained this to them and got my paperwork filed out to be medically excused from doing that. They decided that me pushing carts was so vital to my job that they put me on unpaid medical leave for a year, saying they cannot accommodate me. I can do…

They decided that me pushing carts was so vital to my job that they put me on unpaid medical leave for a year, saying they cannot accommodate me. I can do 95% of my other job duties because those can be done inside.

This was about 3 weeks ago. Suddenly they silently put me on the schedule for the 4th of July weekend. And I am not scheduled any further out. So they suddenly can accommodate me for a time it is super busy but not after that.
