My company I've worked for 2 years, and apparently at some point implemented a max paid sick leave of 24 hours per year. However, we accrue sick hours based on hours worked and I have 11 hours available still. I was under the impression it's illegal to not allow someone to use their accrued PTO. What do I do here? It says I have 11 available hours, but when I try to request the sick pay it says I've reached the max of 24 hours per year. Any thoughts?
