Had a falling out with the company I worked for and I reported them to the union and then I gone to work for another company within the union and when they asked for my union paperwork and receipts that’s when I realized my last receipt was mailed to me from April but the company I worked for has been deducting union dues / check offs for those three whole months. I am aware I am partially at fault for not opening my union mail but the contractor at the time stopped asking to see my paperwork so I just brought the unopened mail and left it at my table and said I will get around to opening it and never did so this issue was never resolved and I thought the union was receiving my dues because in my paystub it’s shows the company has been deducting them from my paycheck but I guess hasn’t been paying them.
And now union guy is not responding to me anymore / declining my calls. (I sent him my pay stubs and the mail I received saying I owe money to them).
