There is nothing in this world, and I truly mean that, NOTHING that requires over 3 years of experience to master.
New employers are constantly requiring 4+ years on things they themselves do not understand. It does not matter if it is a high end version of said job, all the careful trades are included with that too. All increasing the bar does is manifest the need for the community to lie on their resumes. And now that software that verifies history like TWN can be frozen by the potential employee themselves, there is no excuse to make people have to lie with your unrealistic standards. So stop it.
Before somebody gets confused, no, I'm not talking about education, this is solely on job related experience.
