It got taken down because it was a screenshot but I posted yesterday saying my employer was insisting that I make up the (unpaid) days I was out sick with Covid.
Originally when I had put in my notice, I told her I was willing to stay until the end of the phase (the job was teaching at a trade school).
After I said no, she claimed that me being sick was the reason we were understaffed. ((Despite the fact that she has been covering a class herself for the past month because there is no one to teach it))
I told her, “My one-week absence is not the reason we have been under-staffed for 5 months. I am revoking my offer to stay for til the end of the phase.”
She asked for my revised resignation date, and I responded with “11/6/23.”
I filled out the exit interview today, and I know it won’t change anything, but at least I don’t have to deal with that anymore.
