I happily took my paid maternity leave for 3 months and put in my resignation last week, one week before I was set to return to a new role that hadn’t even been decided on yet. I knew I had to go, and they were counting on that. I am so glad to be done with this place and cannot wait to air everything out during my exit interview. All in all it worked out how I wanted, I’m just pissedI had to go through that kind of stress during pregnancy. I’m taking the next three months to spend with my baby (6 months total 🥰) which will leave me without income because ‘Merica, but I am fortunate to have a partner to support me while I am out.
