As the title explains I was fired for speeding in my workplace. The policy is 5 to 10mph, I never exceed that my site Manager simple said ” You were going a little fast there,I'm gonna need to clock out and go home”. I didn't even get a word in. About an hour later I get a text from a group chat stating I can longer work for the company. So I applied for unemployment, went the process of applying for work, going to interviews, and requesting payment on my day. 2 weeks turn into a Month.Then I get a correspondence yesterday saying. I'm disqualified due my employer say I violated aforementioned policy. I can appeal this but I worry I'll lose and the stress a paying bill on time is surmounting. I've found temp work even I full time job.( Although I won't get my next paycheck til the 1st next month) I'm treading water here. So if anyone can offer any advice as what I can do, I'd be grateful to hear.
