Morning everyone! My partner works in an office where they have to use a vacation day if the owner closes the building due to snow. Also they have decided to close on July 5th but employees must take a vacation day. Is this legal? Do other companies do this? We are in PA. Why would you announce everyone would be off on July 5th but you have to use a vacation day? Any insight would be appreciated. *Edit to include they are salary employees. Not hourly.
