The title says it all. I work in a sales position that has a terrible commission structure. Despite making 2 million in profit for the company I might make 50k a year. Our general manager, who makes 3x what I make, whose income is based on our sales, and who spends all day surfing zillow and Facebook is being given a new Bronco by the owner of our company. It's important to note that our GM is best friends with the owner and he's given her a cruise before “as a friend.” Recently, the department figured out that GM was given a new Bronco by the owner. It's a 'company car' insofar as it has a decal on the back. This caused a huge uproar in the office, because we're all struggling, and our boss who doesn't help us at all and who has been a hindrance to our work is gifted a Bronco. GM held a meeting to address the backlash where she called us jealous and told us to “self reflect” if we were bothered by it.
