Last week I posted about a certification program my company offers their employees and I was going to have a meeting with 2 supervisors. Back story, I asked if I could do it and was told no, I pushed back about the “requirements” they were enforcing which did not align with the information the I had access to.
Basically it read that it was available for all employees regardless of their current or future roles, however, they denied me at first bc it was not aligned to my career path.
So it happened and they agreed to let me in the program! Mind you this was after they told me no!!! Super happy for the win though!
