Working for big corporations my whole career has me a bit jaded, but there's one thing that has gotten me through these long and painful years of existence of wage slavery: SEE YOUR EMPLOYER AS THE ENEMY AND TRUST NO ONE.
It's that simple.
I've climbed the corporate ladder with ease frankly and am just a month or so away from making it into the 6 figure club.
- NEVER stay loyal to an employer, as you're the dirt beneath their feet.
- NEVER make coworkers your friends (there are very rare exceptions, but they are usually crabs in the proverbial bucket)
- Lie and embellish like a motherfucker on your resume — this has gotten me the most $$$ in starting salary as I hop from job to job — fuck it
- NEVER show your true self to your boss or coworkers
- NEVER accept mistreatment from your boss or coworkers. Use deceipt and trickery to fuck them over if possible — but be subtle. If this doesn't work, then fuck it; leave for something better (and remember to pad that resume and strengthen your bullshit/deceiving skills)
- Use ChatGPT for everything you can. I just built out a webapp that would've taken weeks in a matter if days and look better than my coworkers — fuck it.
- Purposely dumb yourself down when starting a new job to feel out everyone you work with. People are more forgiving of “mistakes” and you can see who you can work on to help with advancing you in some way.
- And most importantly: Have fun!! Yes, I said it. This system we live under is a joke so HAVE SOME FUCKING FUN WITH IT. I see it all as a game, a friendly challenge.
I've only fucked over people who fucked me, but otherwise my process is harmless.
It's time to embrace BENEVOLENT Sociopathy, guys.
