VP demands more hours from a salaried position

I work as an engineer, and our industry is currently understaffed. Client has pushed a job with a wholly unrealistic deadline, and our VP just gave us a spiel about (I went over to Client's office and saw all the workers staying past 630p, 7p, HINT HINT). From the size of the invoices I fulfill, I already know I earn our company at least double of what they pay for my labor. And the VP still has the audacity to ask for more hours, unpaid overtime for a salaried position. I'm looking for a way out already. From the way the VP treats the office, I can tell this company is a career hell. Depressed wages, depressed workers. There's no incentive to put in any extra effort here.
