Waited almost 3 months for my former employer to offer me a new contract, end up getting a new job 2 weeks before contract ends so I quit. Now HR is doing everything they can to retain me

I had a performance review with my supervisor in early June and was recommended to a senior position and a salary adjustment. They asked for a number but I refused to give and would like to see what they have to offer. End up offered me a half bake reactive, by name only senior position offer with less pay from new job. Decided not to renew and I was able to take enough leave to make the next day as my last and they still have to compensate for the unutilised leave that I have accumulated through the year. Jokes on them for dragging it for far too long
