I want to take my resume, make a funnel out of it, and shit down these people's throats.
Calling in to check on an application no longer comes off as ambitious, just a neusance. The internet has made the Human resources dept. more entitled than ever.
“We have decided”… Yall playing solitaire with resumes back there. There is no reason why anyone should be waiting 3 weeks for a denial.
And when I see the same job posting pop up as “Just posted”, after being denied. I'm appalled. Youre just trying to look busy.
Human resources is one of the most ironic aspect of employers. It's all smiles and handshakes until you sign those contracts, after that they loathe ever interacting with you again.
“What motivates you?” This interview question still echoes in my head. For an entry level warehouse position, I think you're an asshole for even asking it. And if the answer “Bills” doesn't suffice, then I really don't want to be a part of your delusional world where I need ambitions to move boxes around.
I feel better now, thanks internet.
