Administrative assistant. Must take on all office related roles for an AC/Heating company. Role also includes back filing to get their system caught up in the computer system. Must do bookkeeping. Full time hours, Monday through Friday 830-5pm. No benefits what’s so ever.

When I pointed out that the average salary for that position in our state was 35-45k and average for the whole country was 44-55k they didn’t budge on the price. When I pointed out that the local Walmart Starts at $18/hr,they said apply there. Not the point I was trying to make. How do they expect a quality worker when I would qualify for welfare and food stamps working for them.
When I pointed out that my monthly bills would leave me in the negative every month they just stared blankly. The owner did say he didn’t know if I would be a 35k a year employee. Ok. So what’s your highest offer. $15/hr. No benefits.
