We don't have a single common website catered to the worker that's easy to use, little to no scams, plenty of listings, or free to use. Indeed, Glassdoor, LinkedIn are all low quality. Even freelance sites like UpWork.
Think about how insane that is. Then think about how easy it is to fix or actually create a website that isn't filled with scams or misleading posts.
I am tired of “remote” categorized jobs being “in office” only because these websites don't monitor and check for what's written in the body.
I am tired of having to be hyper vigilant of scams to compensate for the lack of moderation.
Shouldn't these websites double as employers anyway? Clearly they need the help. Instead of creating “indeed job assessments and one way interviews” they need to focus on fortifying their pages.
They can hire remote moderators, support for both the applicant and employer, have a team for reports/flags etc.
