On average most of us work 5 days a week, 2 days off totaling to only 8 days for our independence every month. If you work longer hours, more days, pick up extra shifts etc, which we all pretty much do, we end up with less.

We work 269 days a year, plus extra.

This is slavery of our wages and our time and freedom. We are absolutely working too much, not even for ourselves or for society. We are slaving away for someone else's betterment and profit. For someone who doesn't care about us or society.
If you ask me, we should generally only work up to 10-12 days every month. Imagine working 12 days in the month of October and having 19 off, instead of working 23 days with only 8 days to yourself.
