If you're not utilizing Weather Leave you're giving time away. I always first request time off using annual/personal or sick leave, then if that is not approved I request Weather Leave. When the supervisor responds with we don't have Weather Leave, I then let them know it was a typo. I tell them it's actually Whether Leave, whether or not it's approved I'm talking off. It hasn't failed me yet! Please be aware of all the different types of Leave that are available to you.
