What are the best careers in the private sector to transition to after working as a project manager?

I like my job as a project manager, but I honestly dont see myself going anywhere (everyone at the same level). I know we have a recession going on, but i dont know if I can stay at my job due to a toxic workplace, and low pay, or try to find something else. If I do look for something else, im not even sure id be a desireable canidate or what skills I can bring to the table.
