I’m a railroader that makes sure that construction workers aren’t hit by a train. The official title is “flagman” and the pay for it is astounding. The caveat though is that you’re away from home 90% of the time. So definitely isn’t made for everyone who values a home life. However; most people have never heard of this position before unless you’ve been apart of the railroad industry.
What is the niche of your field that no one would know about unless they were in it? Mine is considered entry position with some companies.
