Add to that a dysfunctional toxic workplace environment and a demanding yet incompetent manager who seems to constantly shift her expectations? Edit: just asking because I was in this situation and I was wondering if I did anything wrong. I asked for a raise and she said no. I said I want to be promoted to the next level up job (been there for a year at that point) she said “I’m not ready” then insulted me. I decided to just “quiet quit” at this point and then I got fired
