Hey, y'all. I'm a frequent commenter, I have posted a few times before. I wanted to find an answer for my particular problem, or at least what you guys think. 2 months ago, I left my old workplace due to extreme toxicity and general harassment from my superiors, mainly my manager and our 2 bosses. I was constantly monitored for “using my phone” (changing music or checking the time), bathroom usage, and being untrained on the job. We've had many fights, I've been berated and insulted, and I've thrown it right back. 14 months in, I knew I just wasn't going to get anywhere in my apprenticeship and resigned pretty abruptly. The very next day, after everyone found out, 3 more abruptly quit and a month later, 7 more were let go. I then find out my current company wanted to buy out my former company, and that my former bosses filed for bankruptcy. All of a sudden, my former manager comes in for an interview and I was forced to shake his hand and pretend nothing happened, despite me being extremely blunt and open about how this POS conducted himself as my superior, I clearly didn't go for the hand shake. I had been trying to come up with reasons why this fucker wants to work with me again, after all of that. Today is his first shift and none of us can help but clown around over it. It's just so insane to me. This guy can clearly get any other job in this position, very easily. I find it suspicious that he's tried so hard to get into MY workplace. What are your thoughts or opinions?
