Everywhere you go everyone seems to pushing for young people to go into STEM careers not just because of what it is, but all of the big money that comes from it.
This will create a wealth gap between the common people and those who go into STEM; specifically engineering. I’ve never seen much discussion from that community on the topic of capitalism critique or wealth disparity in America, and I wouldn’t want to assume they’re on the side of the corporations.
In the meantime I’d like to hear your thoughts on the matter of STEM careers, if they truly are viable or just a big sham.
