“What can we do to increase incentive?”

My boss is having her annual managers meeting with the CEO and they’re supposed to brainstorm some ideas to increase incentive or productivity company wide. She decided to reach out to the team to see what the public wanted. We work in a pretty standard office. 8-5, on location, around 2-3 weeks of PTO. However, our office is majorly women with kids. Unanimously we all asked for more flexibility and pto. Majority of the office wishes we had a hybrid option but unfortunately we do not. Also we’re pretty strict on PTO and sick time. My boss responded with “our CEO is not going to approve that. What if if we do an employee of the month but just for this location?” Dead pan we all stared at her and didn’t even respond. Honestly what’s the point in asking if know you can’t provide what we actually want? We don’t…

Honestly what’s the point in asking if know you can’t provide what we actually want? We don’t want more pizzas parties. I want to be able and to afford my bills and have a life outside of this office.
I feel like whatever “incentive” they’re going to offer will make everyone more resentful instead of motivated…
Anyways thanks for reading my pointless story lol.
