i currently work at a security job making (gasp) $14 an hour. i am raw dog tired at the end of the day from working a job in the hottest part of the day that barely covers my rent? i spend all day checking trailers and entering data and answering the phone. im a glorified secretary. what or who do i have to do to get one of those stupid cushy work from home jobs that i can walk leisurely on a treadmill, type in a couple numbers on a spreadsheet and make like 30 an hour like they do in the damn movies?? i’m so tired of being ran ragged and dealing with people, knowing my boss doesn’t give a damn that we aren’t paid anywhere near enough. we can’t discuss our pay (my father works at the same job and when i mentioned how much i made he shushed me WHILE AT HOME because that was frowned upon and he didnt want to know) and no one seems to care that its an unlivable job. i could get hired at our local grocery store for more if they didnt treat people so badly.
