At the beginning of the year, I had to choose between two contracts, and in hindsight, I made the wrong choice.
My current company is a start-up in the IT field, and during the hiring process, we were promised that we would travel to different clients and provide our services.
They sought someone with a good IT background and assured that they would provide additional vendor-specific courses on-the-go.
They kept their promise regarding the courses, but my issue is that we haven't dealt with any client at all since we started, and to that I am only receiving minimum wage here the bare minimum I am able to sustain my life with.
I am concerned that my career is being negatively impacted by this situation.
The contract stated a two-year period, and if I want to break it, I would have to pay for the courses that I have taken.
What do you guys recommend, what should be my next move?
I have been thinking about quitting, but what should be my approach, and what should I tell them?
Thank you guys in advance for your help.
