Was notified about a shift but the hours only totalled to 5 hours instead of the minimum 7 hours negotiated. And no official schedule emailed.
Not feeling it so cancelled with the office to inform it’s not financially feasible with taxes and transport to be working for such low hours and to arrange for an alternative.
Fast forward a few hours got a text from the owner begging me to work, even mentioning to add in more clients. As the staff has no “decision making” power. And I initially “didn’t want that much hours.” Mind you I don’t make tips just base pay. AITA!?
