hi! so i’m looking for a job right now, but i know i’ll be getting a surgery in the middle of the summer that will require me to not work for at least a week and have some accommodations (can’t lift things over 5 pounds) for a while. i had an interview yesterday for a juice bar type place that went pretty well. i’m just wondering if there’s any protection for me to be able to take medical leave and then get accommodations even if i haven’t been working there very long? if not i’ll likely have to keep searching for a job where i can like sit down all day or something but the search is not going well.
