I see questions that are ILLEGAL under EEOC on job applications on indeed way too often.
“Please list any reasons you may not be able to work weekends” – ASKING FOR ANSWERS REVEALING RELIGIOUS AFFILIATION AND FAMILY STATUS
(For example, “I regularly attend church/synagogue.” Or, ” My kids play sports”)
“Please list any limitations on your ability to (do something physical, like lift 25lbs (Required)” – ASKING FOR PROTECTED HEALTH INFORMATION OR FAMILY STATUS
(For example, “my doctor has me on limited weight lifting restriction due to pregnancy” or “Weight restriction from prior injury”)
“Describe what you think is fair pay for the job” – LIKELY ASKING FOR FAMILY INFORMATION REVEALING FAMILY STATUS/UPBRINGING/RACE
(For example, “I grew up very poor attending Martin Luther King high school in a single mother household and therefore I have appreciation of any (shitty low) wage you will pay me, because it's evident by my bootlicking lack of self respect in my answers to your overreaching and in many cases illegal questions, that I have been conditioned through poverty and racism trauma to accept abuse from those in positions of perceived power”
