Currently I’m paid 75k to work on large building and infrastructure projects, but get worked hard with OT. Job is super interesting and involves some coding and automation which is interesting and enjoyable to do. I get to work remotely everyday as well.
I’ve been offered a job for the same pay, doing the same thing but on much smaller less interesting projects. I won’t be required to work OT. I won’t get to utilise the coding and automation as much, and I have to go into the office everyday. This position in initially asked if I would consider a pay cut.
For context both companies are identical in size, have offices in multiple countries.
Which would you choose and why?
