I from the very beginning as a child knew that a sitting-in-front-of-computer type job wasn’t for me but fell right into the trap. I didn’t know why I didn’t want it except for the fact that I had other interests that are unconventional
Now that I’m in one of those, I finally understand why I hate it. It’s the having to deal with the shitty system. There is absolutely no need to for these jobs. it benefits no one, it serves no purpose. It’s bullshit software that is not going to end the world problems or give anyone any fulfillment.
On top of being bullshit, it is boring and stressful.
I mean I appreciate technology. I like reddit where I can talk freely. I like streaming services cause I can be entertained whenever I choose.
But I think we’re done. We, collective humanity, can practically not work and afford to do whatever the fuck we want without the pressure of having to “survive”
The problem comes from greed and envy. Everyone wants more money than the next guy. Wants to experience what everyone is experiencing and one more to show that they are more “interesting”. “Oh everyone is traveling, let me travel everywhere and also go to mars where no one has ever been to one up them cause I’m better than them and so feel better about myself and my worth”
I say fuck that.
Let me be a boring nobody.
“You can’t because you need money, this artificial made up crap, just to survive. Oh you don’t want the materials and travel experiences of others? I bet you still need food and shelter! Rent and house prices skyrocket. Oh forgot to tell you, you need a job that pays a certain amount to get you the shelter you need, cause not all jobs can help you make enough money to then help you buy the shelter you need”
