Whoever made the open office concept mainstream is going to hell

I accepted a job too soon and I need to stay there for a year because I need the experience on my resume. The work isn’t that bad, but I dread going to work every single day because it’s an open office system. You don’t have an ounce of privacy because the partition walls are cheap see through plastic, and i sit between two men around my age. Whoever implemented the open office system is a piece of shit in my opinion. Chances are, they probably don’t work in an open office. They want to inflict this prison on us just so they can save money.

I’m super stressed all the time and I can’t sleep at night because of it. I hate how this is becoming an industry standard. It seems like working conditions have really gone to hell.
