I just got a new boss and they are the worst person ever. I was told that I was “in charge” of my work site but I won't be receiving a pay raise to compensate. They told me that my “reward” was covering shifts and receiving the over time “benefits”
I was promised to have weekends off. But the new boss says that “doesn't work” for them. I worked 70 hours for almost two months. My “reward” was supposed to be weekends off for covering until someone new was hired. I can't even get site supervisor pay and now I'm not getting weekends off. And I'm expected to cover every shift that someone calls out of.
I was basically told that I was “lucky” to have a full 40 hours and work full time.
My boss wouldn't find someone to cover and told me to figure it out and I wasn't able to go out of town for my kid's birthday to celebrate. I had a fun weekend planned. Boss didn't care and said someone had to cover the shifts and I needed to find someone if I wanted off
