We've had a few people quit because they were taking on additional duties without a raise. Now the remaining people are “being given an opportunity to expand their skillset” by taking on, you guesses it, more work from the people who quit.
Like seriously, just pay workers more. It's taken me a year to learn how to do this job and if I quit- a real possibility in a year- the business will have to find someone willing to work for a few bucks above minimum wage in my city.
